Servers
Some mutators work only serverside. What this means can be found in one of the many tutorials. Also, we have a lot of old configurations that are allowed for public download. Next to that, we have a few security mutators. These allow the server to log additional details like keybinds and IPs. Any server enchangement is stored in these subcatagories.
Presets
A default, in computer science, refers to a setting or value automatically assigned to a software application, computer program or device, outside of user intervention. Such settings are also called presets. In fact, they are just plug&Play settings for your new Unreal Tournament Server. They include port settings, connections, mutators, frag/time limits and much more usefull information. On this page you can find these presets for some common servers. Most presets are the server configurations for 333Networks or Source-Clan servers. In this class we keep a list of our (old) server configurations and several helpful admin files. Keep in mind presets contain a lot of files (mutators, configurations, etc) and might be a long download.
Server Protection Files
We don't want people trying to crash the server with malicious mass suicides. We also don't want people cheating with aimbots, funbots or anything like that. How about hacking the server? And how to be sure everything is secure? And when it crashes for some reason? There are many defenses against all those problems. Below a list of everything we were able to collect. Keep in mind that you can add files on our forum when you thing some files should be here as well.
Bugfixes
Unfortunately the creators of Unreal Tournament left some bugs in UTdemo. Many people managed to fix a lot of these bugs.
Enchangements
There are a lot of mutators to enchange the distribution of gathered points. Also, there a number of mutators that allow more ammo, better gameplay or starting with all weapons.
